Tariffs

All tariffs are quoted in New Zealand dollars. Daily tariffs include a 5-course degustation dinner with wine pairings to accompany each course, pre-dinner drinks with canapés, continental and/or full cooked breakfast, laundry services and full use of Lodge facilities and equipment. Rates are exclusive of New Zealand GST (15%).

Terms and Conditions


Non-smoking

The well-being and comfort of all guests at Otahuna Lodge is important to us, therefore we have a non-smoking policy that applies to all buildings on the estate.
 

Arrival & Departure

Our normal check-in and check-out times are 2:00PM and 11:00AM respectively. Should you arrive early or wish to leave later, we are happy to store your luggage for you whilst you enjoy the public areas of the Lodge or gardens.
 

Children

We regret that we are unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age without exclusive booking of the Lodge.
 

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

A deposit in the amount of 1 night's tariff per room booked is required to confirm your reservation.

Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us greatly. As a result, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. If your reservation is cancelled fewer than thirty days before your visit, your deposit will be forfeited.

Should we receive less than fourteen days notice of cancellation we will charge for the total accommodation amount. We will endeavour to re-book your suite and will refund your deposit if we are successful. We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans. For groups (4 rooms or more) a charge of 25% of the accommodation booked will be incurred if the reservation is cancelled fewer than 120 days prior to arrival. All group reservations cancelled fewer than 60 days prior to arrival incur charges for the total accommodation amount.
 

Christmas & New Year Policies

There is a NZ$600 per room surcharge (excluding GST) for any guests who are staying on the nights of 25th December or 31st December.

During the festive season period between 21 December and 4 January, reservations cancelled between 90-61 days prior to arrival incur a charge of one night's tariff including tax.  Reservations cancelled fewer than 60 days prior to arrival incur charges for the total accommodation amount.
 

Exclusive Use

Otahuna Lodge is available for exclusive use. Please enquire directly.
 

Visiting

Otahuna Lodge respects the privacy of its in-house guests. Should you wish to visit the property in consideration of an upcoming stay, please contact our reservations office to schedule an appointment for a time when we might be able to accommodate you.
