Following the success of last year's operatic soiree, we are thrilled to welcome back Misha's Vineyard for an extraordinary encore performance. For one magical evening, we invite you to savour some of musical theatre’s most memorable moments alongside fine wine and exquisite cuisine from our celebrated kitchens.
Misha's Vineyard has earned a singular reputation for its world-class Central Otago Pinot Noir and aromatic white varieties. Owners Andy and Misha Wilkinson will explain the story of how music is interwoven into their brand, presenting both recent vintages as well as some surprises from their renowned cellar.
Our musical stars for the evening will be Donna Alley (Soprano), Michael Bayly (Baritone) and Alyssa Parkinson (Soprano). Donna and Michael have appeared on the operatic and musical stage throughout New Zealand with Donna having performed the role of Carlotta in the Christchurch premiere of The Phantom of the Opera. Meanwhile, Alyssa is one of New Zealand's most remarkable rising stars. The evening’s repertoire will feature songs from Phantom along with classics from several other well-known musicals.
